Saltrap® in USA

The US patent agency has recently published the Saltrap® US patent application under the number US-2020/0181505 A1.

SalTrap® protects distillation unit columns and downstream units from the highly corrosive chloride salts. These salts develop on a large scale due to the ever stringent operating conditions and tough processed petroleum. Column design shall be adapted accordingly. Otherwise these salts can lead to major equipment damages or even accidents.
