Saltrap® in China

SalTrap® protects distillation unit columns and downstream units from the highly corrosive chloride salts. These salts develop on a large scale due to the ever stringent operating conditions and tough processed petroleum. Column design shall be adapted accordingly. Otherwise these salts can lead to major equipment damages or even accidents.

The Chinese patent agency published the Saltrap® patent application in China Patent Gazette No. 1702, Volume 36 and under the number CN111065713A.
